Onix is our version of the laita, the bench that stood in front of houses across the Transylvanian village, built by hand from wood that had come down in the forest.

We kept the idea and changed the execution: superior solid oak, upholstered cushions for comfort, and the row of legs that gave the piece its name.

The designer

Designed and made in house by Arbore. The Oak Saga is our own collection, drawn in the workshop where it is built, and it stays closest to the material we know best: solid oak, worked in volume rather than decorated.
