The chair is the centrepiece of the heron collection. Flowing curves carved into solid oak give a heavy material a light, almost weightless outline.

It comes plain or with a cushioned seat, and beyond the natural oak it can be finished in open-pore acrylic lacquer.

The designer

Designed by Lukas Heintschel, a Munich studio working to a cradle-to-cradle approach. The collection is entirely solid oak, cut responsibly, with a flowing line that makes a heavy material read as light. It is named after the bird.
