The Debut of the In SItu Collection

Arbore at Maison & Objet Paris 2026

Presenting In Situ in an international context

In January, Arbore was presented at Maison & Objet Paris, one of the most important design events in the world. It was an important step for the brand and a chance to introduce our latest collection, In Situ, to an international audience.

Developed together with Berlin-based architect Cezar Moldovan, the collection reflects a shared way of thinking about design. We approach furniture as part of a space, not separate from it. Every piece is created with attention to proportion, material and how it feels to live with it.

The In Situ collection

The In Situ collection is built around clarity and balance.

We worked with solid wood, stainless steel and reflective surfaces, combining materials that bring both warmth and precision. The pieces have a strong structure, but they are also calm and tactile. They are designed to sit naturally within a space and to create a certain atmosphere without overwhelming it.

The collaboration with Cezar Moldovan brought an architectural perspective into the process. The result is a series of objects that feel stable, grounded and carefully considered.

A limited and collectible approach

For this presentation, In Situ was developed as a limited edition collection.

Each piece is made to order, with close attention to detail and finishing. This approach allows us to focus on quality and consistency, while also creating objects that feel personal and long-lasting.

This direction connected well with the Paris audience, where there is a growing interest in collectible design and design pieces for galleries and private interiors.

Feedback from Maison & Objet

The response in Paris was very encouraging.

We had meaningful conversations with galleries, architects, interior designers and collectors, many of whom were drawn to the material combinations and the calm presence of the pieces. The balance between structure and comfort was often mentioned, as well as the versatility of the collection in different types of interiors.

Several pieces from In Situ were reserved during the fair, which confirmed that this direction resonates with the current design landscape.

Expanding the conversation

Maison & Objet Paris opened new opportunities for Arbore.

We started discussions with international galleries and partners, and we continue to explore how the collection can be presented in new contexts and spaces.

For us, this moment reinforced the importance of staying close to our core values: material honesty, careful execution and a clear design language.

What comes next

Following Paris, Arbore continues its journey during Milano Design Week 2026, where In Situ will be presented at both Alcova Milano and Isola Design Festival.

By showing the collection in different environments, we continue to explore how objects interact with space, light and people.
